Grant Castle is a Policy Associate in the Office of the Faculty Director. Based in Washington, DC, Grant supports the Faculty Director’s policy and research engagements related to water, agriculture, and climate. Prior to this role, Grant was an Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist at USAID where he led projects on public financial management, trade, and access to finance. Previously, helped establish an international scientific organization to study misinformation and internet policy. He has also held roles at the U.S. State Department, U.S. Commerce Department, on Capitol Hill, and at various think tanks. Grant holds a BS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and an MPP from the University of Chicago.
