Julia Higgins is a second year Master in Public Policy student at the Harris School of Public Policy. She supports the Innovation Commission with evidence synthesis, research, and writing tasks. Prior to her time at the University of Chicago, Julia supported health information system development and implementation of research initiatives at Partners in Health, a nonprofit organization that works with local governments and communities to deliver high-quality health care. She also served as a Princeton in Africa Fellow at Lwala Community Alliance, and staffed impact and performance evaluations at Social Impact to assess the effectiveness of development interventions across a variety of sectors and countries. She holds a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
