






The Innovation Commission for Climate Change, Food Security, and Agriculture, in partnership with the Market Shaping Accelerator (MSA) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), co-hosted an event titled ‘‘ on February 19, 2025, to help unlock agricultural innovations for climate action in low- and middle-income countries.
Researchers with the Innovation Commission Secretariat, the Market Shaping Accelerator, and the Center for Global Development worked with IFC partners to prepare the report ‘Catalyzing Innovation: Scaling Solutions for Resilient Agriculture.’
The report highlights how policymakers, development finance institutions (DFIs), and private sector stakeholders can collaborate to create and scale solutions that enhance resilience, strengthen food security, and transform agriculture. The report explores groundbreaking innovations, including agri-tech solutions to reduce livestock methane emissions, climate-resilient crop varieties, and microbial fertilizers.
