The Innovation Commission for Climate Change, Food Security, and Agriculture presented at the 2025 Growth . The Growth is an intensive program designed to strengthen the interface between research and policy in support of economic growth in middle-income countries. The Growth is the flagship program of the Global Center for Economic Growth (GCEG), a joint initiative between the University of Chicago and the World Bank.
During the event, Professor Michael Kremer, Chair of the Innovation Commission, delivered a presentation titled “Can AI Transform Public Service Delivery?” which drew upon the Commission’s findings related to digital agricultural extension services and AI weather forecasts.
